Progress Continues, Implementation Remains on Track

The Project continues to advance, with strong alignment results and steady progress toward implementation.

Here is the latest update on the Compensation & Pay Equity Project:

The project continues to move forward and remains on schedule for implementation.

What’s Happening Now

Departments are participating in validation meetings to review classifications and role alignment within the new structure.

  • 70 departments are part of this process
  • 47 are scheduled for validation meetings
  • 27% of sessions have already been completed
  • All validation meetings are targeted for completion by March 2026

To enhance the review process, internal compensation resources are now working alongside the consultant team. This has improved accuracy and alignment with departments.

Alignment Progress

  • 92% of roles are aligned
  • 8% are still under review
  • This reflects significant progress from earlier phases of the project.

What This Means for Employees

At this time, no action is required from employees.

Based on current projections:

  • Less than one-third of employees are expected to receive a pay increase
  • The estimated impact is fewer than 7,000 employees

If adjustments are approved:

  • They will be effective as of February 7, 2026
  • They will appear in the May 22, 2026 paycheck
  • Any applicable back pay will be included

We know this is an important project that impacts our workforce. We are committed to providing clear, consistent communication as we move toward implementation. More updates will be shared as validation continues.
